Riverside Inverclyde is pleased to announce opportunities for Architectural, Mechanical and Electrical Engineering and CDM Coordinator practices. Interested companies should visit Public Contracts Scotland (www.publiccontractsscotland.gov.uk) to register their interest. Registration is free and interested parties should complete the relevant Pre-Qualification Questionnaires for each project, to be considered for tender shortlists. Completed questionnaires should be submitted to Riverside Inverclyde NO LATER than Friday 2 September at 12pm.

The design team members are required for the three following projects:

The grade-A listed Custom House building in Greenock designed by William Burn of Edinburgh and completed in 1818. Previously occupied by HM Customs and Excise, Its location on the waterfront has stunning views of the River Clyde. It is to be partially refurbished to provide modern office space.
Riverside Business Park Phase 2, will provide a 10,000 sq ft office building, with potential to double this. It is being developed to complement the initial Clyde View office building completed in 2009 and now fully let. The business park also has a converted school, providing incubator space, a bungalow which is now a café, and a children’s nursery.
Kelburn Business Park is a 7.4-acre site which will eventually be developed into 41,000 sq ft of industrial units. Platforming works were completed last year and an initial phase will involve construction of 8700 sq ft. The location, 15 minutes from Glasgow Airport and two miles from port facilities, makes it a prime site for attracting companies in the renewable sector.

Interested parties MUST register with Public Contracts Scotland to formally register interest and obtain the relevant Pre-Qualification Questionnaires. This cannot be done by contacting Riverside Inverclyde directly.

Please also note at this time we are not advertising opportunities for other consultants/design team members other than those listed above. Opportunities for building contractors will be advertised later in 2011 and early 2012.
