Riverside Inverclyde (ri), the organisation charged with the economic regeneration of Inverclyde, is delighted to confirm the completion of the fit-out works programme at Kelburn Business Park at the eastern entrance to Port Glasgow.

Built in 2015, the eye-catching park offers office and light industrial accommodation from 2,120 square feet to 15,564 square feet across four blocks.  Block B of the park was previously fitted out in 2016 to include office, toilet and kitchen space and subsequently has enjoyed a 100% occupancy rate since the works were concluded.

In October 2017, Riverside Inverclyde appointed Helensburgh based Stewart and Shields building contractors to complete further fit out works on Block’s C and D, totalling 17,394 square feet.  The works included the subdivision of the two blocks, with the addition of first floor mezzanine storage in two units in Block C.  All of the units offer heating, office, kitchen, toilet and storage space.

As a result of the works, Riverside Inverclyde has seen an increase in enquiries for the units, with new tenants to be announced in the coming weeks.

Ri Chief Executive, Fiona Maguire said:

“Ri’s investment into providing high quality business premises continues to be our main strategy to drive economic growth for Inverclyde.

"This further significant investment into Kelburn Business Park has been developed with the specific aim to support further job creation and entice new businesses into the area.”

Ri’s Head of Business Investment, Andrew Bowman said:

“The high-standard of these works and flexibility of the units has been really well received by the market and we continue to see a rise in interest in Inverclyde as a location for business.

“With competitive prices and incentives available for businesses, superb facilities, excellent road, ocean and train connectivity and the close proximity to Glasgow Airport, it’s easy to understand why more businesses are keen to relocate or expand into Inverclyde."

Ri has also witnessed an increased interest in Block A which is the last remaining space at Kelburn Business Park.  At 15,564 square feet, it is the largest remaining unit and offers potential tenants the opportunity to custom design to suit their business needs.
