West Blackhall Street Consultation Plans

Riverside Inverclyde (Ri) is aiming to revitalise West Blackhall Street and promote further investment and improvements in Greenock Town Centre.
Renowned landscape architects - Ironside Farrar - are leading the planning and design of this public realm project.
Our aim is to:
- Give West Blackhall Street a new lease of life and provide better access to the area to encourage greater footfall, a night-time economy and create an attractive location for business, commerce and town centre living
- Create an attractive, welcoming and inviting destination for passengers from Greenock Ocean Terminal
With the design process in its earliest stage there was a public consultation event held on 28th June in the Oak Mall Shopping Centre in Greenock to display the potential ideas for West Blackhall Street.

Following a great day of feedback, Ri is now able to further share the proposals and plans on-line for those that were unable to attend the event.
Ri further invites residents, traders and visitors to view the plans and give your views on how this public realm project can be a great success for Greenock Town Centre.
Further public and trader consultation sessions will be held out with business hours for those that were unable to attend the initial event.
We welcome all views and will be sharing options and outline ideas developed from the concepts at Event 2 in late summer 2018.
